Volleyball Recap: Walkertown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Walkertown was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of High Point Central on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolfpack lost 3-0 to the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

While Walkertown was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-16.

Emilee Perrault paced Walkertown's offense, picking up six kills. Perrault got some help from Chloe Isaacs and her 16 assists. Madison Holmes controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Walkertown's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bartlett Yancey, their record now sits at 11-3.

Looking ahead, Walkertown will be playing in front of their home fans against Atkins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bartlett Yancey has already played their next contest (against Reidsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
