Soccer Recap: Cabot Comes Up Short

Cabot lost to Mount St. Mary Academy back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 5-0 to the Belles. While losing is never fun, Cabot can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Mount St. Mary Academy are ranked first).

Cabot's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Cabot will face off against Mills University Studies at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, they will challenge North Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
