Volleyball Recap: Wellesley Comes Up Short

Wellesley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Braintree Wamps. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Wellesley's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Braintree, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Wellesley will square off against Walpole at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Braintree, they will face off against Boston Latin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
