Fenton took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Elgin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bison narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Maroons 3-2. For the Bison, this counts as revenge for the 15-4 win the Maroons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
