Having struggled with seven losses in a row dating back to last season, Centaurus finally turned things around against Ponderosa on Thursday. They took down the Mustangs 57-38. The Warriors pushed the score to 43-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Centaurus can attribute much of their success to JT Falzone, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 15 points, and Sam Esposito, who went 7 for 11 en route to 21 points. Nick Jones was another key player, earning five points in addition to six rebounds.
