Basketball Recap: Good Hope's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Good Hope was the 69-55 winner over West Point when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Good Hope Raiders fell 70-58 to the West Point Warriors on Saturday.

Good Hope's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2. As for West Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Good Hope and West Point should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Good Hope (ranked 66th) will meet Freeport (ranked 306th) at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Point will challenge East Lawrence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 160 places (115 vs. 275).
