Softball Recap: Coosa Christian Falls Short of Jacksonville Christian Academy in the Playoffs

Coosa Christian and Jacksonville Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Coosa Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 6-5. The Conquerors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunder earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Coosa Christian's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-11 record this season.

Coosa Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Spring Garden on the 29th.
