Basketball Recap: Profile Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lin-Wood on Monday, Profile came back down to earth. The Patriots were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 50-49 to the Epping Blue Devils. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Profile's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Gignac, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points and five rebounds. Gignac continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Miles Constantine, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Profile's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Epping, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
