Volleyball Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview lost against Boaz back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Plainview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jada Gray had nine digs and two aces.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Boaz, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

Plainview has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Albertville on the 27th. As for Boaz, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sardis on the 27th.
