Football Recap: Blue Hill Bobcats vs. Loomis Wolves
Blue Hill had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Loomis Wolves on Friday. The Bobcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.
Loomis found their leader in underclassman Jace Schukar, who rushed for 203 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. Schukar's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards. Jaxson Sweeney was another key player, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Blue Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawrence-Nelson on Friday. As for Loomis, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they face off against Axtell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
