Basketball Recap: South Anchorage Takes a Loss

South Anchorage is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Arbor View. The South Anchorage Wolverines were dealt a 74-37 loss at the hands of the Arbor View Aggies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wolverines have suffered since January 23rd.

South Anchorage's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Arbor View, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Anchorage will take on Chugiak at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Arbor View, they will welcome Durango at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
