Volleyball Recap: Ludlowe Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ludlowe waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the McMahon Senators as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Ludlowe walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-15.

Rebecca Karlsen paced Ludlowe's offense, picking up ten kills. Karlsen got some help from Sidney Ogilvie and her 27 assists. Karlsen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Finley Havens, each putting up four.

Ludlowe's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for McMahon, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ludlowe will square off against Norwalk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McMahon, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Canaan at 4:00 p.m. on October 8.
