Ankeny faced Norwalk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Ankeny easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Ankeny's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Norwalk, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 19-9 record.

Coincidentally, Ankeny and Norwalk will both be playing Omaha Westside the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Warriors at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
