Volleyball Recap: Canton Central Catholic Crusaders vs. Chagrin Falls Tigers

After flying high against Southeast last Thursday, Canton Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Crusaders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chagrin Falls Tigers on Tuesday. While the Crusaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-21 in the first set.

Canton Central Catholic started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-10, 25-20, 25-20.

Sophia Keane paced Canton Central Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Keane got some help from Mae Axline and her 22 assists. Angelina Fuline controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sadie Conrad had an outrageously good game for Chagrin Falls as she had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Conrad has posted since back in September.
