Softball Recap: Booker Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Booker finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the DeSoto County Bulldogs, falling 20-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tornadoes were not able to get on the board.

Booker has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. DeSoto County moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booker will head out to take on Bayshore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for DeSoto County, they will venture away from home to square off against Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
