Norman Thomas hasn't had much luck against Graphics recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Norman Thomas Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against Graphics at 5:00 p.m. Norman Thomas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.

Norman Thomas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They strolled past Queens Complex with points to spare, taking the game 65-50. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norman Thomas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xavier Joaquin, who went 8-for-13 to rack up 17 points and five rebounds. Jariel Rodriguez was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, after a string of 14 wins, Graphics' good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They fell just short of Marshall Academy by a score of 45-42. While losing is never fun, Graphics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd in New York, while Marshall Academy is ranked 38th in New York).

Graphics' loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Norman Thomas, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

Norman Thomas lost to Graphics on the road by a decisive 67-53 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Norman Thomas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
