Basketball Recap: Marlborough Takes a Loss

Marlborough has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers 78-25 on Thursday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Marlborough's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Sierra Canyon, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-1.

When Marlborough and Sierra Canyon next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Marlborough will try to stop Westlake's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Sierra Canyon will take on Harvard-Westlake and their six-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
