Baseball Recap: West Shore Christian Academy Takes a Loss

West Shore Christian Academy entered their contest against Christian School of York on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. West Shore Christian Academy fell just short of Christian School of York by a score of 7-6. West Shore Christian Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured six losses in a row.

Memphis Barron and Nick Silcox did some serious damage despite the final result: Barron went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Silcox went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that Silcox has scored this season.

West Shore Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Christian School of York, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Shore Christian Academy will head out to challenge Alliance Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian School of York, they will venture away from home to face off against Lancaster Mennonite at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
