Basketball Recap: Globe Takes a Loss

Globe lost against Florence two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Globe Tigers took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Florence Gophers.

Globe dropped their record down to 5-17 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Florence, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.

Globe and Florence could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Globe will challenge Coolidge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 138 places (234 vs. 96). Meanwhile, Florence (ranked 220th) will meet Seton Catholic (ranked 76th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
