Baseball Game Preview: Argonaut Mustangs vs. Sonora Wildcats

The Argonaut Mustangs will face off against the Sonora Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Argonaut is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They skirted past Sonora 8-6.

For Sonora's part, Cameron Pousard was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Pousard was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Pousard wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Navarro, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Those two runs gave Navarro a new career-high. Another was Issac Hudson, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
