Soccer Recap: Pueblo South Comes Up Short

Pueblo South lost against Pueblo Centennial on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colts lost 9-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Pueblo South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Pueblo Centennial are ranked 79th).

Pueblo South dropped their record down to 1-11-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Pueblo Centennial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season.

Pueblo South will head out on the road to challenge Sand Creek at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pueblo Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pueblo County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
