Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Falls Short of Sheets Memorial Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bethel Christian Academy can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 58-57 to the Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Sheets Memorial Christian found their leader in sophomore Jude Howell, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 22 points and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Howell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Finn Everhart, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 21 points.

Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Sheets Memorial Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Bethel Christian Academy nor Sheets Memorial Christian have any future games scheduled.
