Softball Recap: St. Anthony Village Takes a Loss

St. Anthony Village was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mound-Westonka White Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 10-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.

St. Anthony Village's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mound-Westonka, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

St. Anthony Village has already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Kennedy on the 15th. As for Mound-Westonka, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-3 defeat against Delano on the 15th.
