Volleyball Recap: Coahulla Creek Takes a Loss

Coahulla Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Columbus Blue Devils. If the Colts were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blue Devils when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alyce Norton paced Coahulla Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Norton got some help from Maddy Hambright and her ten assists.

Coahulla Creek's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Columbus, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-17.

Coming up, Coahulla Creek will challenge Sonoraville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against South Aiken on the 20th.
