Basketball Recap: Atlantic City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hammonton last Monday, Atlantic City came back down to earth. The Atlantic City Vikings took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the KIPP Cooper Norcross Titans on Friday. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Atlantic City lost, don't look at Chris Finks. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khajuan Roseborough, who had nine points.

Atlantic City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for KIPP Cooper Norcross, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Atlantic City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-58 win against Woodbury on the 30th. As for KIPP Cooper Norcross, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 52-30 loss against St. Augustine Prep on the 28th.
