Softball Recap: Mesquite Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lancaster last Thursday, Mesquite came back down to earth. Mesquite came up short against the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes on Friday, falling 10-3. The Skeeters' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mesquite's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Duncanville, they pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mesquite will square off against Waxahachie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Duncanville, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on April 1.
