Basketball Recap: Wauwatosa West Comes Up Short

Wauwatosa West lost against Menomonee Falls back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wauwatosa West Trojans had to suffer through a 90-40 loss at the hands of the Menomonee Falls Phoenix. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Wauwatosa West's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Menomonee Falls, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Wauwatosa West and Franklin will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. Menomonee Falls will take on Wauwatosa East in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wauwatosa East will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Menomonee Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
