Basketball Recap: River Falls Comes Up Short

River Falls lost against Hudson back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The River Falls Wildcats were dealt a 63-33 defeat at the hands of the Hudson Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Raiders are ranked 49th).

River Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Hudson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Falls will challenge Rice Lake at 7:15 p.m. on February 21st. As for Hudson, they will take on New Richmond at 7:15 p.m. on February 21st.
