Soccer Recap: Southwestern Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southwestern lost against Lutheran back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Piasa Birds lost 5-2 to the Crusaders.

BRAM BEUTTEL and EBEN MAKLER scored both of Southwestern's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Southwestern has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Hillsboro on the 9th. As for Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
