Baseball Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Hamilton-Wenham Regional was riding high fresh off their 23-3 takedown of Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals fell just short of the Manchester Essex Hornets by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Generals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 13-3.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-2. As for Manchester Essex, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
