Basketball Recap: King Lions vs. Jesuit Tigers

King lost against Jesuit back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The King Lions took a blow against the Jesuit Tigers, falling 88-20. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-16.

King's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rodney Smith, who posted four points and five boards. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Josue Twite was another key player, putting up four points.

King's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

King wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-32 loss against Freedom on the 28th. As for Jesuit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-40 win against Ball on the 28th.
