It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Harlandale can now relate to. They took a hard 48-33 fall against the Jefferson Mustangs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 60-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Perez, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Perez has posted since back in February of 2024. Rafael Gonzalez was another key player, going 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points.

Harlandale's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 22-12 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Harlandale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will take on Liberty Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
