            A feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Tigers  face off against  the Wildcats at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose  65-35, which was the final score in Pawnee Heights' tilt against Kiowa County on Friday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

 Even though they lost, Pawnee Heights was working as a unit and  finished the game with 13  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Wallace County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of  61-50.
 Wallace County's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Pawnee Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 1-19.
