Softball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Republic Tigers, falling 20-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 25-7 loss back in April.

Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Republic, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Oroville by a score of 18-9 later that day.
