Soccer Game Preview: Seguin vs. Highlands

The Seguin Matadors will challenge the Highlands Owls at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seguin will be strutting in after a win while Highlands will be coming in after a loss.

Seguin took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Edison. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Seguin were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Highlands came up short against Jefferson on Tuesday and fell 3-1. Highlands have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Gael Flores, which was the first he's scored this season.

Seguin's win bumped their record up to 6-9-5. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-3.
