Soccer Game Preview: Shorewood vs. Ingraham

The Shorewood Stormrays will challenge the Ingraham Rams at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. Shorewood will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Shorewood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Stormrays who were credited with the victory. Shorewood got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to Bellevue's six.

Ingraham will bounce into Friday's match after beating Bishop Blanchet, who they had gone 1-7-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Bears on Saturday. The game was the first time Ingraham have beaten Bishop Blanchet on their pitch since March 29, 2016.

Shorewood pushed their record up to 18-2-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven games. As for Ingraham, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-4 record this season.
