Brock Wensel posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
