Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for L.W. Higgins

After losing to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy the last time they met, L.W. Higgins decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hurricanes walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Tigers on Friday.

L.W. Higgins pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.
