It was a good run, but West Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Freeman Scotties by a score of 47-44. The Eagles were up 31-17 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

West Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2. As for Freeman, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

West Valley has already played their next match, an 83-49 victory against East Valley on the 17th. As for Freeman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 83-23 win against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna on the 17th.
