J.H. Rose had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Terry Sanford Bulldogs on Friday. Considering the Rampants have won 16 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Simmons, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Matthew Aldridge, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

J.H. Rose was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Terry Sanford only posted a batting average of .222.

J.H. Rose is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.
