Softball Recap: Robertsdale Comes Up Short

Robertsdale fell victim to Daphne and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-0. The Golden Bears haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Robertsdale's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Daphne, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-5.

Looking ahead, Robertsdale will take on Foley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.85 runs per game on average), something the Golden Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Daphne, they have already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Baldwin County on the 9th.
