Softball Recap: Fort Bend Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Fort Bend Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Heights on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles fell 7-4 to the St. Agnes Academy Tigers on Friday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Katherine Trinh was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Allie Guillot also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Agnes Academy, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Fort Bend Christian Academy will be playing at home against Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Houston Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
