Benson entered their tilt with Tombstone on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Yellow Jackets 11-1. Considering the Bobcats have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Benson now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Tombstone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benson will venture away from home to face off against St. Augustine Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Tombstone, they will head out on the road to challenge St. David at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
