Baseball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Wins Going Away Against Oakwood Christian

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts won the last time they faced Oakwood Christian and things went their way on Monday too. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts put the hurt on Oakwood Christian with a sharp 16-2 victory. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts this season.

Landon Miller and Jaxon Dang did most of the damage at the plate: Miller scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Dang scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Owens, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakwood Christian only posted an OBP of .421.

The win (which was Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Oakwood Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.
