Baseball Recap: Kalama Comes Up Short

Kalama fell victim to King and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 19-0 to the Knights. The Chinooks' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Kalama's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for King's, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kalama will host Stevenson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chinooks are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for King's, they will welcome University Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.5, the Pumas 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
