Volleyball Recap: Clayton Bears vs. New Auburn Trojans        
        
		
             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clayton had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the New Auburn Trojans  3-2. This was payback for the Bears, who suffered  a  3-1  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Clayton was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 26-28, 19-25, 25-17,  15-6.
 Clayton's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kyleigh Luoma, who  had 24  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Macy Grosskreutz, who  had 15  digs.
 Clayton  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted  in their last nine  contests.
 Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 11-22. As for New Auburn, they moved to 14-4 with that  loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
 Clayton has already played their next match,  a  3-2  defeat against Prairie Farm on the 26th. New Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
