Preview: Corcoran Cougars vs. Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights
The Corcoran Cougars will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On December 9th, Corcoran was the victim of a tough 72-52 loss at the hands of Nottingham. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Corcoran in their matchups with Nottingham: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Bishop Ludden pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rome Free Academy. Bishop Ludden has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Corcoran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bishop Ludden, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Corcoran ended up a good deal behind Bishop Ludden when the teams last played on December 8th, losing 58-43. Can Corcoran avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
