Softball Recap: Palo Verde Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Calipatria last Tuesday, Palo Verde Valley came back down to earth. Palo Verde Valley lost 10-1 to the Mission Bay Buccaneers on Saturday.

Palo Verde Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yasleen Reyes, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Palo Verde Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mission Bay, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Palo Verde Valley has already played their next match (against Holtville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mission Bay, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Canyon Hills at 4:00 p.m. on April 11.
