The North Andrew Cardinals's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 49-36 win over Worth County. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory North Andrew has managed all season.

Worth County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kynah Steele, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Steele set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Kristen Tracy was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.

North Andrew now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Worth County, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Andrew will challenge Bishop LeBlond at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop LeBlond presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Andrew in Missouri (Bishop LeBlond is ranked 14th, while North Andrew is ranked 290th). Worth County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gilman City at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th.
