Basketball Recap: Nathan Palmer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Trinity Greenlawn over Laville

Trinity Greenlawn lost against LaVille back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trinity Greenlawn Titans fell 59-46 to the LaVille Lancers.

Trinity Greenlawn lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nathan Palmer, who went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points and three steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ian Abbott, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points.

LaVille's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Czarnecki, who went 9-for-15 en route to 24 points. That makes it 19 consecutive games in which Czarnecki has scored at least a third of LaVille's points. Andre Gonzales was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 15 points along with five assists and three steals.

Trinity Greenlawn's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for LaVille, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-8.

Trinity Greenlawn has already played their next game, a 50-40 defeat against Washington Township on the 28th. As for LaVille, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-42 loss against Jimtown on the 4th.
